Girls Softball Clinic & Player Preview
For
All 2010 SRN Registered Softball Players
March 21, 2009 @Liverpool High School Gym
09:00AM to 12:00PM
On behalf of Seneca River North Little League Board of Directors, we want to extend our thanks and appreciation for your interest and support of our Girls Fastpitch Softball Little League program. It’s the first “Little League” Softball program to be chartered in Liverpool, NY. We anticipate a rewarding and fun time for SRN’s second season and your involvement will assist us in building the program for years to come.
To kick-off our second season, we’ve scheduled a player’s development clinic. We encourage and want all 2010 SRN Softball participants and family members to attend.
The clinic is designed to achieve several objectives:
- To provide SRN the opportunity to communicate league update and answer questions
- To provide SRN players the opportunity for softball skills and fundamental training
- To provide SRN player preview to assist with team and division placement
We’re fortunate to have the assistance and involvement of numerous experienced softball players, instructors, and coaches as well as Nick Spataro, LHS Varsity Softball Coach for the development of our program and Clinic.
The Softball Clinic Agenda
- 8:45am – 9:00am: Arrival - Clinic Sign-in and late League Registration
- 9:10am – 9:30am: Welcome and SRN League Update with Questions & Answers
- 9:30am – 12:00pm: Player Skill Development Break-outs (Pitching, Hitting, Fielding)

ABOUT SRNLL GIRLS FASTPITCH PROGRAM
SRN Girls Softball Program is a Little League Softball Program: The regulations and playing rules for the SRN Girls Softball program follow as closely as possible the established operation of the SRN Program. That includes safety guidelines, league structure and instructional objectives. In regard to players, Little League age rules apply, as do regulations relative to participation in SRN Baseball program. To learn more about SRN Little League Program review the Player Registration page or About SRN.
SRN Girls Fast Pitch Program is primarily an instructional program. For Girls ages 7 to 16. To achieve each Division’s development goal, all teams will provide a practice schedule prior League play. Player’s participation at practice is essential to their development and promotion to next level of play.
Girls Fast Pitch Softball is very much a part of the SRN Program and is coordinated by SRN. However, unlike our regular season Baseball Program, District 8 manages the game schedules and locations.
SRN teams will compete with other teams in our district, on other fields, is why this program is also known as “The Travel League”. To learn more about District 8 and “Travel League” see District 8
League and Game locations: SRNLL Girls Fastpitch Teams will participate in the NYS District 8 Softball League. They will complete against other Little League Teams in the Onondaga County area. Depending on community reception, registration enrollment and facilities, future considerations will be given to support inter-league play. Please see the menu to your right Field locations.
Space may be limited in this program registration is first come first serve. The number of players, teams that can be registered in this program is contingent on the number of SRN families, parents who are willing to be a Team Manager or Coach. If you are interested, please contact SRN President, Vet Mason 546-5099 or president@srnll.org
