The Parent Program
All of us working together with one goal, providing a fun, safe place for our children to learn & play Little League Baseball & Softball are no small achievements! The SRN program is over 500 players, three buildings, and six fields. Everyone working together, from Parents who support the operation & administration to Coaches and BOD members can be proud of what we have accomplished. SUPPORT WHILE YOU ARE ASSISTING IN CONCESSION OPERATION
v While you are assisting in Concessions there will be instructions posted.
v Other Parents working with you have experience and will share information & help.
v In all concessions respect each other, when possible rotate in and out to see games. The Minors concession has eight parents scheduled when all fields are in use this is done deliberately to help parents rotate and see portions of their child’s game.
v The Concession Director and League Information Officer are available to assist. Contact numbers are posted in Concessions.
v Please use common sense & safety at all times. Remember you are serving children, your friends and neighbors.
SRN POLICY
AGE IN CONCESSION
1. Consult with other parents who are scheduled for the day before asking a person under 18 years old to back you up.
2. We ask that you not put those responsible in a difficult position; asking a child to leave the concession. This regulation is made first, with your child’s safety in mind.
3. These regulations are a condition of ASAP Little League Guidelines & Onondaga County Health Department Regulations.
4. Only adults over 18 are allowed to cook in concessions.
5. Concession Operations are very much like small restaurants adhere to OCHD regulations and are accountable for SRN funds.
6. Young people are never left responsible for what is clearly an adult task.
7. The safety & health of our customers and young adults assisting is SRN’s number one priority!
